Originally, DePalo Bakery started as a small retail bakery in 2001. Soon thereafter, the bakery specialized in Direct-Store-Delivery services that mainly supplied local businesses in and around the Charlotte, North Carolina region. In 2008, DePalo relocated its operations to Belmont, North Carolina in hopes to expand and achieve capabilities in making quality products at a much larger scale.
Having a family background deeply rooted in the food manufacturing industry, Gianni, Joseph, and Philip Piraino joined on as a group of fresh, innovative thinkers that will guide this business for years to come. We go through painstaking efforts to ensure that our baked goods are produced the old fashion way, using freshly sliced ingredients and our signature family dough recipe. These characteristics are essential to our production process. We are forever grateful to our dedicated employees; we would not be where we are today without them.
